Energy Certificaton required from 1st june 2013

The Government of Spain launches a new model based on the rental housing and Rehabilitation. This has been approved by the Cabinet on Friday April 5, 2013 various legislative.

The rule states that as of June 1, 2013 will be required to make available to buyers or tenants of buildings or parts thereof, for rentals lasting longer than four months, an energy performance certificate.

This certificate, along with the energy rating of the building, should include objective information on the energy performance of buildings, and in the case of existing buildings, document of recommendations for improving cost-optimal levels or energy efficiency of the building or part of this, so that you can assess and compare the energy efficiency of buildings in order to advance the promotion of energy-efficient buildings and investments in energy efficiency.
